Our FTC Robot
FTC Robot
Our FTC robot has been competing for three years now. Our robot have compete in the FTC games First RES-Q, First Cascade Effect, and First Block Party. The FTC Robot has been used for demonstrations and freshman orientation. Our FTC team also recieved the judge's award in our first ever competion.
The design for the robot was kind of a rollover from a past FTC design. We took off the top part of the frame, and attached it to our new robot to accomodate for the time shortage we had near competition. For the First Res-Q competition, we added treads that would help us climb up the mountain, as well as a claw with foam to squeeze the balls and have better grip. Our robot for the First Res-Q competition is shown in the last picture. The robot is sturdy, can take hits, and provides agility for programming and driving.
